Seems like I'm topping up my 30 gallon tank all the time. Any way to slow down the water evaporation? I have a bridgelux 120w dimmable led. That's on it's lowest setting. I have it on a timer 7am-8am.

My temp is 79 ish and I'm using a penguin 200 filter

It's normal to top off your water daily. But how much are you topping off and when??

One gallon a week isn't that bad! I'm losing a gallon every couple of days in my 36 gallon. I was losing a gallon a day on my 75

I top off a gallon and a half a day in my 210 DT now. Was topping off with 3 1/2 when i was running my MH fixture on the little tank legs about 5" off the water lol. Built a canopy and now i run them 13" off the water with an open back canopy and a fan inside the canopy and over the 40G sump.
