snails and clean-up crew

hey everyone i was thinking bout gettting some snails for my tank. what type of snails and how many? i have a 10 gallon tank. i already have just a blue legged hermit crab in there now as my clean-up crew wat else should i get? my tank is getting a little dirty

I would add maybe 3 nassarius snails for the sand and 1-2 astrea snails for the rock/glass. Stay away from turbo snails as they get big and tend to knock things over.

I 2nd the no turbo snails. I have a 29G and made the mistake of picking out a biggie turbo snail, and I'm getting ready to give him back. He's starting to pull my hammer coral out of the sand, twice now....arg
