So we had a few margirita, turbo, and 1 chestnut snail in our 50gal fish only tank. They seemed fine but now they have all died but our zebra snails and 1 turbo snail. Our fish are seem to be fine.Has anyone else have this issue before?:thanks:

I have had the same problem. They seem to be sensitive to high NO3. I have also seen my hermits dining on them but I don't know if the hermits kill them or just eating snails that died from other causes.

What are your levels like?? Crawdad is right. They are very sensative to high nitrate levels as well as hermits. Depending how high it gets it will poison your fish too. Im fighting high nitrate levels as we speak. Very stressful..

I seem to have the same issue with my turbo snails but my nitrates are only 15 ppm

Margarita snails dont last long in aquariums, they like cooler waters like seahorses
