I've posted about this before, about my brown algae that grows all over the tank, especially on all my shells (I've already minimized my lights-on time, and is don't have silica-based sand). I got a small BNP who does a good job of keeping the flat rock surfaces clean, but he's too lazy to clean the shells and other rough surfaces.
I'm a little scared to use an anti-bak like erythromycin, so I'm exploring other options: are there any snails or crabs who will clean me up and who can withstand my tangs and peacocks? I have plenty of assassin snails to keep any other snail population in check.
