Snails

Hello all I have had my tank setup for about 2 months. I had some fish that had ich so I raised the The temp from 82 to 85 degrees. Since then I had an explosion of snails that are coming out. Now I'm not complaining I seen spiral shell snails black she'll snails and some translucent shell snails but can not seem to I'd them. Most are small and some just growing fast eating all the alge and I'm not complaining, I'm just glad they not eating the plants. So could anyone Id them please

Looks like you have the works! Pond snails, Malaysian trumpet snails (mts), and ramshorn snails.

Nope. As the other person mentioned unless the plants are dying.

I have a collection (meaning I don't know how many) of MTS in my planted tank and they do not bother the plants.

I would not recommend clown loaches for any aquarium as their adult size is 2 feet long and they are social fish that need to be kept in groups.
As long as you do regular water changes and do not feed the snails shouldn't become too much of an issue. If you start to dislike them I would recommend removing the larger ones manually and getting a single assassin snail. Assassin snails can reproduce as well, so it's possible to switch out one snail population for another! I have a single assassin snail in my planted 10g, and he does a great job of keeping the pond snails in check although they're not completely eradicated.
If your tank is 40 gallons or larger and you don't have any small or delicate fish you might be able to get a group of 3-5 yoyo, angelicus botia, or zebra loaches that will eradicate them completely.
