I wrote about a week or so back about my puffer getting small white spots on him. Well, yesterday his eyes were covered with a white film and this morning he was dead.

I went to feed the Lionfish today, and now he is exibiting the same symptoms, He just developed white spots and now his eyes are also getting a white film over them and he does not appear to be able to see. Anyone have any ideas how to treat this? is this Ick?

I agree, do not use a net, it is easily possible to have the spines get stuck and injure the fish (or you trying to remove it). Use a large sterile bowl to scoop him up, be sure to wear gloves.

The ich was apparently introduced into your tank, it is important to quarantine each new arrival to prevent this. Now, treat as mentioned above and be sure to leave the tank fallow for at least 4 weeks to allow the parasite to die out.

leave them in anything you do to kill ich will also kill the inverts
