I have a 75g planted aquarium with co2, 2 48" finnex ray II led lights and does macro, micro, and iron every other day. My parameters are perfect. I have clams, nerites spiny and tiger snails, 7 sae's not the Chinese ones, and some raspboror tetras. I have had this tank for about a year now and have seen this weird branches coral thing growing on one of my snails. Does anybody know what this is?

Kinda looks like a sea fan but those are saltwater creatures, has the snail spent any time in saltwater.

No, I bought it from azgardens.com. As far as I know it's been in freshwater the whole time.

poke it! See if it moves lol, I wouldnt do it with skin tho use a chop stick or something, could be alive? Looks like some kind of fiber moss?(the kind that grows with its cells end to end?

Looks cool tho
