Hi,

My corydora sterbai has something white on it for several mounts.
His barbs are damaged too. Now I see some fins are damaged.

Others corydoras are fine...

I have a 2g hospital tank and Furan-2, T.C Tetracyclinem, General Cure and KanaPlex. Can I treat it with that? If yes - how?

Do I need the sand at the bottom of the hospital tank or not?

I want to treat him with Furan-2 + KanaPlex.
T.C Tetracyclinem won't work with pH 8-8.2.

Any suggestion?

Thanks

Do you treat with any stress coat or water conditioners that replace the slime coat?

My thought would be to try an anti-fungal and see if any improvement. Does it get worse then better then worse at all?

For QT I'd use bare bottom.

I use Seachem Prime for the new water.

I have Rid Fungus: Rid Fungus? | Kordon!

No idea if it'll works...

Thanks

I'm not sure on these herbal based treatments.

It seems not a too serious infection though so you could give it a go. Guessing you have read the same articles which say this may be less harmful but also less effective. Try it for a week or so and if no improvement shift to a stronger med.

It doesn't eat and move. I take it with the hand easily.

Put in 1.5G tank with air stone, dosed Prime.

Started the Furan-2 and KanaPlex meds. I'll wait 1 week. I'll continue to dose Prime every 24h and meds as directed.

It's indeed fin rot and something bacterial.

20h after he passed away...

Next time I need to react quickly and not wait 6 months...

Nope. In my exp herbal treatment is useless (except No Planaria).
