It is all a matter of perspective. They are diminutive in comparison with an adult Parachromis dovii.there is nothing dwarf about them. 5-6" max
I think dwarf cichlids and I'm thinking apistos and rams. These guys don't get huge but I wouldn't put them in the dwarf category?? Maybe in a 180 gal tankIt is all a matter of perspective. They are diminutive in comparison with an adult Parachromis dovii.
But, yeah, chances are those fish are in too small of a space together.
Thanks. Yep it’s a geophagus. Look it up in the internet. I would highly recommend purchasing one yourself. [emoji1360]
I love earth eaters and most Geophagus in particular. I have just never heard them called by that name. I have kept G. dicrozoster, G. winemilleri, G. altifrons, A. heckelii, B. cupido, S. leucosticta and probably more that I am not thinking of right now.
When they get bigger watching them sift through the sand is awesome.
