Be only seen this guy a hand full of times. Seems to have 6 arms..and is the second one a sponge? ID anyone.. Thanks!

asterina star. i've seen them with as little as 2 arms and as many as seven.
i also guess sponge for pic 2.

I think I know the answer but want to double check as I'm new to the hobby: Can you have to many sponges? I've found 2 more for a total of 4.. I'm assuming no but... Also it appears that I have a green plant of sorts growing, going to watch it and if it gets bigger will post a pic.. But should I be worried about a plant growing randomly? Thanks!

you can't have too many sponges, but depending on the plant, it may or may not become a problem.
