starting over - need advice

I have a 26G tank that was used for hyposalinity treatment and is now fishless. What do I need to do to it to prepare it for use as a quarantine tank? Just rinse it out and replace the filter media and water? It's only been 2-3 weeks since the last fish died so I don't want to take any chances that there are still parasites in the tank that could infect any new additions.

If you are talking about using as a QT I would think about just cleaning the tank out. Wash with water with a cap or two of bleach. Rinse well and allow to air dry. Then start the tank over again as a QT.
