How many Cory catfish should I keep in my 36 gallon hexagon tank. Right now I have one Cory and one angel I was told they like to be in groups. I worry that the tank foot print is not very large how many can I keep comfortably. Thank you.

What kind of Cory do you have now?

Your tank is a good size. You could do 6, would be reasonable number. Small kinds of Cories Dwarf Cories like Pygmy are nice because they are significantly smaller and could have 12 instead of the average 6 regular Cories. Some Cories are really large as adults.

Emerald "Cories" are really a different fish Brochis splendens.
