stuck open mouth

I have a african cichlid for a few weeks couple days after getting him his mouth is stuck open he still eats an closes it but goes right back open what is this none of the other 11 fish do it an waters good so wat can it be

I am not familiar with this symptom. However, it could be a bacterial infection. When you have a bright light on him, do you see any coloration issues, such as gray spots?
Please post pictures if possible.

No spots read somthin about fluke but seems like larger fish get that an I don't kno how to post pics with my phone
