Hey everybody,
While soaking some of my driftwood, some of this mold-type stuff appeared (see attached pic). It doesn't scrape off very easily, and I've found it while soaking real wood and fake bamboo shoots.
1) is it mold?
2) any way to get rid of it, or do I need to scrap the pieces and find new ones?

Thanks!
Brian

It's possible. I found it as a log, so I can't say for sure. Thought fake bamboo wouldn't have the soft wood characteristics - and I had this stuff on my bamboo as well (not as pronounced, however).
