What substrate to use for reef or FOWLR

We used aragonite sand in one, and plain ol aquarium sand in the other

As said before, aragonite is a great substrate.

so aragonite is great for reef tanks

it buffers the ph, and is (the white sand of course) very reflective.

What'd the beat way to put it in the tank so it doesn't float and trap air bubbles in the sand
