Such thing as "Fancy tail oscars" ?

Wen I bought my Oscars I was told they were "Fancy tail" Oscars. I love them no matter what but supposedly its their fins as well as their coloration that makes them "Fancy". And yes my water is cloudy, trying to figure that out.. I do tons of water changes to get it clear and nothing

Fancy oscars are usually any color type other than wild type. Wild type is almost impossible to find anymore so they are effectively all fancy. Some stores and wholesalers will reserve the fancy name for only those with much more or brighter colors or pattern, yours is a good example of this.

There are long-finned varieties of oscars, that may be what you got.

oh yeah my 28th bday is coming up and the money i get from my dad is going to a 60g, till we can upgrade them to a 100+ lol
