Hello, I currently am in the process of beautifying my 55 gallon community tank. My theme was for tropical riverbed but I have no idea which plants would be good!!! Ludwigia is okay looking and so far I’ve got some Brazilian pennywort for stemplants. I’ve got some bunches of hornwort as well just kinda chilling as well. I have cabomba growing in my other tanks and is doing *superb* so I think some cabomba would look really nice in it!! Unfortunately I had my adorable dojo loach in the tank for a short few months and she unfortunately uprooted all my cabomba which unfortunately killed he plants before they had time to take off. I was a bit skeptical about putting some in there to begin with however, as my light isn’t *super* bright (I use a Marineland Advanced LED light) and I heard cabomba can be a little finicky without brighter lights. (Also will mention I dose weekly with ThriveC after water changes)

Basically, I’d love some suggestions for some lower light plants that grow and bush out! Some background plants that do well densely planted!! Any suggestions and advice are very much welcomed!

Foreground:

Echinodorus tenellus - Grassy type plant, spread via runners, does well in moderate light.
Crypt parva - Bright green dwarf broad leaf plant, creates a nice foreground patch to break up straight lines. Does well in any amount of light.
Crypt lutea 'hobbit' - Deep maroon dwarf broad leaf plant, creates a nice foreground patch to break up straight lines. Only available from Hortilab and Dennerle in tissue culture for as far as I know. Does well in any amount of light.
