Sun catfish

He hides in a ship I have in my tank but I noticed it's geting hard for him to get in and out of hole in the ship should I get him a bigger place to hide. Or will he be ok out in the open ?

Will be best to get another, larger hiding place as they are quite reclusive during daylight hours.

How big is the fish? Very nice looking tankbusters these fish!
