Super cloudy water

So my old aquarium gravel started loosing the paint so I got new natural gravel and now my tank is extremely cloudy, almost white and I did the change yeaterday. 7/17/2011. Any suggestions. I could use some help about now

Hello,

Did you happend to wash the gravel before putting it into the tank? If not, it is possible that it's just the dust/particles that were on the rock (It should go away on its own). Also, it could possibly be a bacteria bloom from you moving the established rocks out with new ones (Just watch your parameters).

Yes I washed the gravel plenty if times and will it bloom just over night

It already "bloomed". Just make sure to watch your parameters (Ammonia, NitrIte, NitrAte) for any changes
