I bought a water surface skimmer. It is made of plastic. One of the tabs that prevents smaller fish from getting sucked down into the canister filter system has a fracture along the bottom, and now it feels like a loose tooth, almost ready to come out.
Could I shut everything down, take that float assembly out, use SUPERGLUE to repair it, then wait a few hours and put it back in the tank? Or another type of glue? My thought is this is not a good idea, but I thought I should ask first.
