Swordtail half alive, Help

Hi my swordtail is half alive it is laying on it's side but still breathing. I've put him in a fry seperater thing to stop him getting eaten. Anyone know what I can't do?

Fairly certain he died after a fight. He has a couple of his fins nipped. I'm not sure who he thought with but I belive it will be the other swordtail male.

Male swordtails can be brutal to each other. Sorry to see this .
I have had some males that could not be housed with less then 5-6 males or they would kill them.
What size tank and are you sure your water parameters are good?

Yeah I tested all the water. I've had no problems sinse. I didn't originaly have two males I had 3 females and a male but one of the females grew a sword
