Swordtail infertile?

I am starting to suspect my loved female swordtail is infertile. I purchased her 2 months ago (I previously thought 3) about 6 weeks ago she developed a gravid spot. So I thought that she is pregnant. Now I have almost had her for 7 weeks. Her gravid spot is definintatly bigger. Although, she is isn't boxed or anything. Any ideas? I find this strange. My other fish had lots of babies.

She may feel insecure in the tank to drop her fry. Try putting her in a tank by herself and see what happens.

+1 to that. You could also add a small dose of aquarium salt to relax her. Could add more plants (fake or live) some caves. Or do a 25% water change with slightly cooler water.

I'd say at least a 10 gal

I add salt with each water change and stress coat, lol I definintatly don't need more plants, it's soo dense you can't see through.
