Hello all,
This is a picture of Guyus Baltar the Catfish, I've had him since the tank was established and he has happily been living under a pice of doug out bogwood. Today I've noticed a few White markings on his head, nowhere else.
Please look at the image and let me know what you think, I've raised the temperature just in case...

I doubt it's ick. Probably just an injury. It should heal up on it's own.

Mine get little scrapes all the time. They bump into the logs or rocks. No real need to worry unless you see it start to fester in any way. I usually do a 50% water change when I notice the scrapes just in case. Makes me fell better.

To the OP... I agree... looks like it just scraped up against something. Clean water is always a good idea though, if you're really concerned about it a couple 50% pwc's should give you some peace of mind.
