Hey everyone. Some of you might remember my first build thread ( http://www.aquariumadvice.com/forums/f70/my-pandora-under-the-sea-140935.html ) . Well, today I started a new tank. I've wanted to do a live tank for a while, and I finally gave in.
I'll add a back drop once I finish everything else. I'd like to get a vertical piece of drift wood for the left side of the tank, and preferably be able to cover it in moss. I don't know anything about maintaining a healthy live tank, other than what I have gathered on various forums the last week or so. My ph level is around 8 right now, it's dropped a little since this afternoon when I added the water. I put the plants in a half hour ago, I'm hoping they help bring the leveldown within the next few days. As much as I hate/suck at it, I'm going to be patient and hold off on putting fish in for a while. Any good tips?
