So, I have one tank at the moment that is working just fine and good for my Axolotl, but it's not big at all. Up until about 4 months ago I was keeping a tortoise in a 55 gallon terrarium but after selling him it's been laying around barren. I've read lots of stuff about turning terrariums to aquariums but nothing this size. This terrarium has 6mm glass, incredibly thick silicone binding and a solid frame. It does not leak and holds water well from what I can see, but my question is do you think it is not worth it to attempt to use it as an aquarium? Is it bound to break eventually and cause huge problems? It's just an option, if I can avoid going out and spending a lot of money on a big new aquarium and use that instead I would, haha.
