Tank looking better

My tank is almost at its 4th week of cycling. I had major problems the 2nd and 3rd weeks. After I put some ammo chips in the filter pouch last week and did a PWC yesterday the ammonia is down and pH WNL. My water is so much more clear and my fishies are swimming about and not hiding or looking sick. I lost a lot of fish in the start but so far into the 4th week things are looking lots better. If it keeps up I am gonna get me a 30 gal and get me some cichlids or oscars. 8)

Oscars will out grow the 30gal in no time

But I'm glad to hear that your tank is going better.

I would recommend a 55 gal or larger for a single oscar. 75gal or larger for a pair of oscars.
