Tank mate needed

Hey all! My friend has this big ciclid and she is wanting to get a tank mate for him/her? She had put a electric blue ciclid in there but it was a bit smaller than him and he killed it any thoughts on anything ciclid or otherwise would be great! Thanks

what they need to do is get fish of equal size from the mbuna range, then remove the old fish into a qt tank or breeder net until about 1 week later, so the new fish can establish territory and not get killed. reintroduce the old fish and good luck!
