can anyone pls tell me which fish would be ok to live with a 2-3 inch albino channel catfish in a tank? snails,crawfish,eels? thnkx

What size is the channel catfish currently? What is the size/set up of the tank?

27 gal hex tank 2ft hi. Haven't gotten catfish yet but when I do it will be 2-3 inches

Do you have a place for the fish to go when it outgrows that tank? Channel catfish are one of the largest catfish in North America, after all.

I don't want to be a downer at all, but channel catfish have been known to outgrow a 100 gallon tank within a year. So, I don't think it will do well in a 27 gallon, especially a hex. If you just have to have this fish, then do not add any other fish.

I can Think of a few good uses for a catfish too big for its tank
