tank pall for my platy

hi there could anyone please tell me what fish would be an ideal tank partner for a platy besides other platys, I was thinking maybee some lemon tetras, I recently bought a betta, but it kept attacking my poor platy so it had to go, any advice would be greatly appreciated

sorry, shd have said that before, i have a 15 gallon, it has an otto in aswell as a golden apple snail

Your oto would like company, preferably the company of another oto.

The info I'm seeing online is that your Platy will get along with most any fish - so tetras should be fine as long as you keep them in a group.

My female swordtail absolutely loves my platys, they swim together all the time. Could try one of those?

Thankyou for the advice, i think that the betta is a lovely fish but it is really agressive!

How about a few more otos and some sparkling gouramis.
