What should the water temp be for my goldfish? And what should it be for my tetras

Goldfish should be fine at room temperature, they are normally cold water fish and work best at cooler temperatures. As for the tetras, they are tropical, so anywhere between 70 and 80 should be good. I have mine at 77 right now and they are doing fine.

Goldies are fine at room temp as long as its not too cold. 68-74f is a good range. Tetras are tropical fish and are better suited to the upper 70's.
