sorry i cant spell but would you think if i had a big enough tank that i could put aggressive fish in it.
I was thinking a firemouth with a lot of tetras and mabye some angelfish i would put in the firemouths in last and make sure they are pretty small too
The tank is48x30x24

Well, that is a pretty big tank but the firemouths would probably still harass the other fish. Unless maybe the other fish hide all the time which would not be a good thing anyway. They would most likely be living a life of fear.
I have never owned firemouths though, so I do not know too much about them.

With cichlids don't put any fish in a tank that will fit, or almost fit, into the fishes mouth. Firemouths are moderately aggressive, but if they breed then more so. They could eat tetras.... perhaps not congo tetras which get biggish.....

i agree with mattrox, i would def. say no to firemouths.....loaches can be aggressive when they reach max size (so i've heard) but i havent seen it myself.
