Test Kits

I have the Master Test Kit right now...are the Virbac Mardel 5 in 1 Test Strips for Saltwater just as good? For as much as I will need to be testing my water the strips will be much more convenient. Are they ok to use?

You can guess more accurately then strips will tell you.

Is your master kit an API?
Is this fish only or reef?

It's fish only with LR.

Yes, the kit I have is API. The results have always been the same with it. My boyfriend brought home some strips from Petco that the guy gave him..he put them in my dt but I had nothing to measure it against..this was my bf's quote "he said the hot pink was bad" but he couldn't remember what the hot pink was. Go Figure. So, I tested my water with my API kit and everything was normal. So, I guess I am questioning whether or not my API kit is bad.
