Just a quick question, do small tetra species such as neons, cardinals, rummy nose, black neons etc tend to school together, or do they generally stick to their own kind?

Thanks,
Kev

i had a few neons with some black neons and they just stayed with thier own kind. But i think neons and cardinals will school together, although i have no experience with this.

Yes i think they will as i have tetras. Black phantom and Sepera tetras andthey school together. It will depend on the size. Cardinals and neons will. I dont know about the rummy nose but generly anything that it the same size will group or not. It depends on the fish
