Tetras

Hi me again
Should I be worried about the fact that my new tetras seem to be hiding in the corner behind my ships wheel rather than swimming about or are they just sleepy ??

Give them time. Also leave the lights off for 24 hours to reduce stress

They are probably stressed out. Did u acclimate them to your tank?

Yes I did left them sit in bag for a while then opened bag put bit of my water in let them sit and then put them into the tank

How r they doing. What kind of tetras?

Neons two of them have past away but my perimeters are fine so somebody has advised me to get an air pump as In a 30l tank I only have a filter to move the water I thought the movement on the surface would be enough to airate my tank

Neons can be notoriously hard to keep alive although additional air flow would probably be appreciated not having it especially if u have the correct sized backpack filter n it was only the neons in there that probably isn't the cause

Yeah. I've lost a couple of neons usually in the first few days. Doubt that it's the aeration.
