Tetratec APS 400

Anyone has this pump? I heard it becomes veery loud after just few weeks. Is it true?

I used to have that pump. I never noticed it getting 'louder' over time. If fact I think as you get used to it, it becomes less noticeable. I had mine inside my cabinet, so that probably helped. I used an old bath towel, folded up a few time and just placed the pump on top of it. I found this cut down on the vibration/hum from it. I don't have it any more because I had no need for it and sold it. I was very happy with it and would not hesitate in buying another one if needed.....
