By the time we got to Spokane, we were exhausted and managed to get our mattress in before crashing

Over the next few days, we set up the fish tanks.

The gerbils got tired of having only one cage and no tunnels, so they ate the ring around the "outpost." Luckily Trevor saw them before they escaped.

A few days later (and after a lot of rest) we went to "rescue" Trevor's 1968 half ton truck from my aunt's thistle field.

Thanks for posting the pics - I have never had the presence of mind to take photographs while moving and have never documented some of the more interesting events (something interesting always happens during a move) so it is cool that you have these pics to document the experience.

Welcome back, and it looks like you have settled in nicely :D

The pic of the dog is priceless!!! What great eyes! I cant imagine a trip like that with so many critters up to my ears... Yikes! I would go nuts!

Great photos! What a trip, thanks for posting. Glad things have settled down for you and everyone is doing well.

Geez, I got tired just looking at the pics, can't imagine how much work that actually was.

I haven't kept up with the enire story, did all your fish survive? I hope so!

I like your license plate... did you do what it said??? cry?? I would have, thats just way too much like work for me. and the one of you face down on the matress... HA! I bet you didnt move for days! Its good to see that your at least getting settled in.

Did the truck start up right away or did you have to fuss with it sine it was in storage for that long.

Wow Menagerie! What a trip! Those are some great photos. It looks like everything is calming down and coming together. Thanks for sharing :D

Trevor bought a new battery, and spakr plugs (I think). The truck started up just fine, but one of the wheels was locked. He had to take off the tire and sprinkle fairy dust on it to get it going. We will be taking the truck up to Calgary next weekend to pick up the stuff that didn't fit in the Budget truck.

did you do what it said??? cry??
Not at that time, we were too busy and too mad. Although, I feel as though I am making up for it tonight. We just discovered Trevor's bird, Abott, has died. She was a sweety and now Casa is squaking his beak off
Now we need to find a vet and bring in Casa to make sure everything is okay. There goes our fun outing to the Art Fest :bawl:

corvuscorax~we lost a few fish due to keeping them in coolers for 3-4 days longer than we planned :( Even with daily PWC, the stress was too much for some of them.

Very sorry to hear that. It's tough losing any of our animals. You and Trevor are in my thoughts today. :(
