I had a thiara snail a while ago it didn't have the spikes on it though. It liked to bury in the sand a lot didn't see it much, it ate pellets, flake and loved vegis. Didn't really need any special care. Sorry I can't be much help i couldn't find much on the Internet either about them.

I did but I was hoping to find first hand knowledge from someone who has kept them etc. Kind of like feeding cucumbers zucchini etc to snails/plecos ppl that were successful enlightened us novices to the better ways.
