things looking up in ich tank.

Well I have an outbreak of Ich in one of my 55gal tanks, I'm using the heat/salt treatment and have lost a few guys; two danios and two tiger barbs. I was shocked at tiger that passed today. It was so healthy looking, def the head of the school with almost no visible spots white spots, so I am thinking a second round infection to the gills because he was having so much trouble breathing this morning. Today everyone in the tank looks much better. Only two fish, one of each, have any spots left and everyone seems to be swimming better. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that no one else goes down the drain of life (we would never flush in the household).

I made a newbie mistake about 8 months and ich infested my display. I qt everyone and treated with copper and left the display fishless for 8 weeks since then I have had no problem. And now i am extremely careful when adding tankmates
