Think my betta has fin rot

I know, it is difficult. 1 tblsp per 5 gals is the standard dosage most hobbyists I know use, and should be the dosage the salt package instructs you to use. I would cut back the salt to no more than this dosage.

With salt it's the kidneys, and with the mela it's the labyrinth organ.

What temp is this tank?
 
Thanks! I will adjust or just stop the salt. Not sure if he is changing at all. But then I'm not quite sure he has it. :/

The tank is at 80.
 
I had a betta with fin rot and I took him out of his 5gallon and moved him into a 5 litre plastic bowl, I changed the water 100% everyday with half the doseage of interpet no8 finrot and he started looking better after 2 weeks! Also in regards to cleaning gravel its worth buying an electric vac which cycles the water inside the tank and has a bag which catches the dirt. I'd also recommend changing from gravel to sand as this is easier to clean
