thinking about salt

ok have had fresh water tanks for a while now and am thinking about turning 30 gal to salt. what is nec. that i don't already have for the fresh. just asking generally. no coral, can't afford the light, ha ha fish only. what maint. or upkeep is required that is not requ. for fresh. thought someone here might know.

Your next step should be to get a good book on marine aquariums. I recomend "The Conscientious Marine Aquarist" by Robert Fenner. Decide what you want to keep, what sustrate, filtration and equipment you will need. Do a lot of research and keep asking questions. Lando
