Yes. If you have at least a couple to 3 hour period of time lights off, after at least 4 hours of lights on that is ideal. At least one hour minimum off.

4-5 hours lights on
a couple to 3 hours off aka Siesta rest period
3-5 hours on

This is recommended if you are not using CO2 injection.

Gives you the time to watch the fish more for sure.

No bodies can the filter suck them up or can the others eat them that fast? It is just one type. I keep putting RB but they are HR's can't spell found two. I have one left. I looked in every place I could. (Did find a Nitrite snail I have been missing. LOL.)
I have been watching the Betta (Bobo) he seems to be bullying the one that is left. Either the shock of every day cleaning or his bulling is my guess. Maybe losing some biological did I state that right?
