I got this as a bulb but am not really sure I am doing it right.
From what little I have read you don't bury the bulb, so I just put it in my tank and lightly pressed it into the substrate so it wouldn't move.
It has new growth that look like spikes about 6 or 7 with the longest being about 1/4" nothing anywhere else on the bulb.
I guess my main question, are these roots or sprouts? should they face up or down or does it matter?
