Please let me know if you've ever tried this, I have multiple breeding cichlid pairs, so I always have lots of babies to keep me busy..

Anywho, I have a 10 gal, a 20 gal, a 75 gal and a 125 gal

-my plan is to set up breeding boxes in all the tanks

They say the higher the water volume, the easier it is to maintain the cleanliness right?
I wanna see if it has an affect on fry survival / growth rates

Im wondering if its the breeding box or the tank that the breeding box is in that dictates the hormones the fish produce / change their growth and development.

I'm really curious :D this should be fun to watch if nothing more lol.

P.S. my platinum angel has not left the breeding box I set up in his tank. He keeps trying to eat the fry even though he'll never get to them... Should I paint the breeding boxes? Does that stress the little fry - seeing a big monster on the other side of some glass?
