The eclipse 3 i'm using for my betta has an extremely high current for such a small tank and my betta hates it

so is there a filter that is super small and a HOB?

wow, its really cheap too

does anyone know what pet chain store might have those such as petsmart or petco

You can pull the filter out if you want. I have an Eclipse 3 and just removed the filter. My Betta prefers calm water. I have one that likes a filter and one that doesn't. You can also try putting plants in front of the Intake to slow the current down. The submerg. adjustable filters are wonderful I have those in other tanks also.

Marineland/Penn-Plax makes a "Small World" Filter, for 2 gallons and under though. Many retail shops sell 2-5 gallon filters. Just make sure it has an adjustable rate, and that you turn it all the way down.
