So I was reading AA at work and had an overwhelming "feeling" to check out my local Craigslist (probably cause I was reading the insanity thread) and what do I spy? 175 gallon with the works! Not top of the line but not Wally world either! Oh and an oak stand and canopy! What did I pay you ask? 400 delivered and put in the spot I wanted it!!!

Now I started with a 29 gal a cpl weeks ago and as soon as I got it set up I wanted bigger and the feeling never went away sooo...... thoughts and comments wanted. Did I make a mistake by jumping in with both feet? Did I over look something in my splurge? It won't be up in going till I've cleaned it in every nook and crevice. Oh house is built on a slab so weight is not a concern.

Sorry for the wall of text just excited!

Looks like a great deal to me! You have so many options for stocking. I'm jealous! :) Hope you have a water changer, cause you're gonna need it for that, lol.

I'm so jealous...I've been waiting for something like that to show up around me for months...awesome find though!

Well good news bad news, after measuring a 100 times 72" x 18" x 23.25" LxWxH umm 125 gal? Im missing 50 gal worth of space me thinks. The decor is good, have to see what I can find out on the HOB filters so far cant find a name. Lights work but i don't trust them maybe after cleaning I will feel better.

After kicking myself for not measuring a 125 setup im just as happy

Well after more research its 130 gal :) still a good find in my book

The good news is I should have it up and running sooner then before with the 175

That's still a good deal in my book. What do you plan on doing with it? The possibilities are endless!

Not bad at all even though it's a 130. The canopy and stand look very nice.

If you could post pics of your filters I bet one of us could tell you what you've got.
