if it looks very glossy it is most likely about to go into the major portion of the shed. mine did the same thing. very glossy for about 36 hours. last night at about 1:00 am i noticed the polyps alittle bit. the looked like they were under glass. i gave a gentle blast with the turkey baster and a ton of shedding came off. i think the polyps were coming out to push the skin off. after that most of the ployps came about half way out to try and finish the job. i bet yours is just fine. like i mentioned earlier, it seems ours are on a similar schedule getting used to their new homes.
