Marcie (severum mama) and I went to a fish store about an hour away to attend a planted tank workshop put on by Seachem. It was a good presentation and everyone was very nice. Of course, it focused on Seachem products, but that was ok too since for the most part I like and trust their products. They set up and planted a 20G while discussing plant needs and their products.
They started with about 30# of Flourite Black. Then chose a piece of driftwood for the hardscape. Then came planting it with dwarf baby tear, green nesea, rotala indica, dwarf hair grass, and one that I forgot the name of and need to research.
They gave away T shirts and a box of root tabs to everyone there at the end. Finally the big finale.... the drawing for the newly planted tank and the full line of seachem plant products. Drum roll....
I won!
Here's what we got....
We're working on it now and will post build pics shortly.
