Hey all. So it's been about a week since I set up my new tank. I have some picture I tried to take along the way. It was a Thursday night when I got home from work, the family friend was over who's pretty much a handyman/ carpenter helping out my dad do some work on the house gave the OK for the tank on the 2nd floor. That was holding me back from doing the transfer.

I got a good deal on the tank and stand. I've had a 20 long sump for a while waiting to be used!
I upgraded to the reef octopus nwb-110 in sump skimmer.
Jabao wp25 powerhead
Two 120w dimmable LEDs from eBay.

LOVE IT so far. Comments and etc welcome.

Can I get an actual ID on this - had it for a while forgot open brain?

What is the growing out of my zoas?

18" zoomed light. My chaeto doubled in size since the upgrade. More room and more flow in the new sump.

But then got this clamp on light. Cleaner look - out of the way. I put a regular 40w light bulb in there I don't know if its going to do anything. What's recommended? I bought a 70w floodlight but its SO hot. I seriously could get rid if my heater if I kept that in there.

My question right now is about the light for the fuge to grow my chaeto and also should I put an inch or so of sand in? Still have some left from the 55.

Also you'll notice I stuck a piece of PVC in the out port of the skimmer for now because it was too noisy since its a little higher than the water level. I'm getting a 90* elbow that will go there and return to the same chamber. This was temporary but may be the reason why my chaeto is growing.

Thanks a lot! I got a Hanna Checker for phosphates and did a water change yesterday. Checked it a couple hours after and it read .011. Going to get a TLF phos reactor 150 and a small maxijet pump. This should be the last equip I need...

Looking great tommy!!! You're corals look awesome. I was going to get a birds nest frag the other day and figured it would get so big for my 55, then I'd definitely have to get a bigger tank. Again looks awesome and I'm still not a fan of that door. I kid I kid.

haha, the door. I don't even notice it anymore haha.

Tom green was funny, but not like he used to be when he was on TV, I was younger though.

holy bump!

Sorry haven't been on in a while. So much going on. A lot of construction. Take was moved and broken down then set back up in its final place. Pics to come as soon as possible.

I lost some corals but got so much since August.

Went a little coral happy last night got 7-8 on the way on the 12th.
