So I have a 6 gallon Fluval Edge tank and I think, I now have too many fish in it.

As of right now I have the following fish in there.....

1 - Ruby Shark
1- White Skirt Tetra
2 - Mollies
4 - Guppies
1 - Snail

Do I have too many fish in my tank? Or am I Ok? If I do have too many fish in my tank, what size should I upgrade to?

Yes, you are very overstocked.

I think you should get a 40 gallon tank, and get 5 more white skirts, because they like to be in groups of at least 6.

Edit: I just looked into this some more, and I read that rainbow sharks need 55 gallons minimum. If you returned the shark, you could get a 29 gallon tank for the 6 White skirts, 2 mollies, and 4 guppies.
