too much co2?

I made a 2 cup to 2 tsp ratio co2 gen for a 10 with a lot of green is this an ok amount of co2. I don't want to come home to a dead tank thanks in advance
 
Knowing the recipe you used does not at all address how much CO2 is actually in your tank. You need to measure the CO2 concentration of your water to know with some accuracy how much you are dissolving into the water.

I was under the impression that more yeast to sugar would release faster. And that article mainly talks about diffusion
 
It might but that is immaterial. The article clearly details how to measure co2 which is what I think you are asking about.
 
No problem - once you calculate your ppm co2 in your tank you will know if your mix is too strong or too weak.
